“Writing for brides is just as exciting as planning my own wedding was,” says Mindi Leatham, who married Anthony Ronga on October 25, 2003 at Eagle Mountain in Fountain Hills. A few of the unique details of Leatham’s wedding were her hand-made wind chimes ringing in the breeze during the ceremony, tables named after 1940s singers with illustrations by the groom and a swing band dressed in zoot suits. “Arizona offers so many creative options it was impossible to incorporate them all into just one event,” she says. “This issue’s articles, Warm Receptions (page 60) and Sedona Mini-Mooning (page 70) gave me the opportunity to explore some new, beautiful sites and fun concepts that brides can easily incorporate into their big days.”
