Green

Florals and Surroundings | San Diego

At Green we think long-stemmed parakeets should sprout from oranges wrapped in swirling strands of grass. Floating candles should reflect off pink water above an aquatic garden of suspended, purple orchids. Grass isn’t just for outdoors, in fact, it makes perfect ground cover for our boutique and the ideal arrangement container may be a retro porcelain vase, a Mexican tomato sauce can or even a pepper.

Our idea of Eden is strongly influenced by modern design, urban trends and is often a surprisingly gorgeous combination of elegant and funky. We hunt all over the globe to be able to provide you with the hippest, freshest floral exotica to enjoy.

Together, Green’s co-owners Carlos Franco and Rob Hellander have over 25 years of design experience. Carlos trained in London and Paris, working alongside legends such as Steven Woodhams, Paula Pryke and Christian Tortu, “the man who reinvented floral design.” In London, Carlos wowed the U.K. with his traditional English garden hand-tied bouquets infused with a bit of his own modernist style. Rob Hellander studied interior design at Parson School of Design and worked as a photo stylist in NYC. There he was responsible for the stunning décor and original artwork photographed for several women’s interest magazines, catalogues and other print media. Rob has a reputation for breath-catching ideas and an unrivaled eye for detail.

D*lush

D*lux Beverage Joint | Global

In 1998 Adler had an epiphany to launch a youth-market beverage joint. At the time, not a single retail beverage brand was speaking the language of American teens, all 70+ million of them. With a Georgetown law degree and budding retail consultant career in place, Adler decided instead to paradigm-bust the tired bricks and mortar beverage sector. He took his idea west to youth market haven, sunny San Diego, and recruited a top-talent team, including culinary consultants and brand developers. Alder hooked their participation wit his passion for a razor-edge brand. D*lush went live on July 1, 2001. The result of Adler’s work is a zebra of a very different stripe: Provocative, Hip and Fun.
